FAQ

What is it?

A book of fifty-two conversation questions, one for each week of the year, plus fifteen shorter bonus questions in the back. Each one pairs a short idea with a question, so nobody gets cold-opened with something heavy.

Who is it for?

The whole table, not one age group. It is written so a ten year old and a grandparent can both find something to say. That is the part most conversation decks get wrong: a couples deck is awkward at a family dinner, and an adults deck cannot come out with kids in the room.

Is this the same as the free questions you post?

No. The questions in the book are written for a broader age range, including kids, and they are structured differently: an idea and two questions, rather than a single daily prompt. If you follow along online, the book is not a repackaged version of what you have already read.

What is actually inside?

Fifty-two main cards. Each has a title, a short piece of context, and two questions. Then fifteen bare questions at the back for the nights nobody wants to think hard.

How much is it?

$29.99, with free shipping in the U.S.

When will it arrive?

Every copy is printed when you order it, so it ships as soon as it is off the press rather than from a warehouse. Our printer's estimate is around two weeks from order to doorstep: a few business days to print, then standard mail.

That is an estimate from our printer rather than a guarantee, and we will tighten this answer once we have real timing from our own orders. If you are buying as a gift for a specific date, order with room to spare.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

Not yet.

Is there a digital version?

Yes, coming alongside the physical book. Same questions, instant delivery, which makes it the one you can still send the night before.

Do I have to use it a week at a time?

No. It is ordered deliberately rather than shuffled, so reading it in order works well, but plenty of people will open it at a random page before dinner. Both are fine.

Will there be more volumes?

Yes. This is Volume One.
