Shipping policy
How our books are made
Every copy is printed when you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse waiting. That keeps the book in print forever and means we are not guessing how many to make, but it does mean your order takes longer to reach you than something picked off a shelf.
Where we ship
Within the United States only, for now.
Cost
Shipping is free on every U.S. order. There is no minimum and no threshold to reach.
How long it takes
Two stages, one after the other.
Printing. Your copy is produced after you order, which usually takes a few business days.
Delivery. Once printed, it ships by standard mail. Our printer's estimate is around two weeks from order to doorstep.
That is an estimate from our printer rather than a guarantee, and we will tighten this page once we have real timing from our own orders. If you are buying as a gift for a specific date, order with room to spare.
Tracking
You will get a confirmation when you order, and tracking information once your copy ships.
If something goes wrong
If your order has not arrived, arrives damaged, or arrives with a printing fault, tell us on the contact page and we will sort it out. Photographs help with anything damaged.
Address changes
Get in touch as soon as you can. Once a copy has entered production we may not be able to change where it goes.
Digital editions
No shipping, and nothing on this page applies. Digital orders are delivered right after purchase.

Our books are printed for you
Every copy is made after you order it. Nothing sits in a warehouse, and nothing can be put back on a shelf. That is why this policy works differently from a normal shop.
If something is wrong with your book
If your copy arrives damaged, has a printing fault, or is not the book you ordered, tell us within 30 days of it shipping and we will send a replacement at no cost to you.
Send a photo rather than the book. There is no need to post anything back to us.
Changing your mind
Because each copy is printed to order, we are not able to accept returns or give refunds simply for a change of mind.
We also cannot offer a refund based on the content itself: the questions, the writing, or how the book looks. If you are unsure whether it is for you, the product page and the FAQ describe what is inside, and there is a sample page you can read before you buy.
Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Cancelling an order
There is a short window after you order, before your copy enters production, when it can still be cancelled. Get in touch as quickly as you can and we will stop it if we still can. Once printing has started, the order cannot be cancelled or changed.
Digital editions
Digital files are delivered immediately, so they cannot be returned or refunded.
Normal print variation
Small differences in colour, trimming, or alignment are normal in print on demand and are not treated as defects. Anything that affects how the book reads is, so tell us.
